COT Hand it over!

When Tom comes home the cats allow him to get changed into his comfy shorts. But then they herd him into the kitchen and put him to work. Au demands his chicken with louds MEOWs and Target asks for his liver with tiny meew meew meeps! Soft or loud doesn't matter because the message is the same: HAND IT OVER!

I find this so cute when Au and Target do this. But I have to laugh at myself too because I'd never tolerate this sort of bullying from human people. Just as well I'm not a parent. I'd probably bring up kids as cats.

Happy Cats on Tuesday! For more, visit Gattina or check the blog roll on the left.

PS Katz Tales is out on Saturday in the print version of The Star, Weekend section.

I have a little concert in the morning when I feed them. That's the only moment during the day when they are all together sitting in the kitchen and meowing for breakfast ! :-)

Hehehe, that is the same here. When I stand up and come in the kitchen for a coffee I have all the cats around me ...with a big MEOW concert.....no time for the coffee until I feed the cats.

This is so true! Our mom says she wouldn't let a person do to her what we are... But if we are the purest angels?!
Thank you for your purrs for little Chilli. She seems to be feeling better and has just eaten some chicken with broth. We are going to wait how she reacts to it, but she' lively and alert, so it couldn't have been no mayor harm...
Purrs!

Ah yes, the gang can get away with stuff I'd never put up with from my kids or grandchildren! :D

When I make my daughter's lunch the cats dance around my feet asking for treats. Sometimes they get lucky and it something they like, other times they sit and stare at the peanut butter and jelly sandwich bits as if I have lost my mind. Never stops them from trying though.

Isn't it funny how they all have a different meow? My Katy is the loudest, Mimi kind of just goes "ack ack" and the boys are fairly quiet. But my humans are the same way lol. Happy Tuesday.

Cats are creatures of routine, are they not?
Luna usually doesn't meow for food - but she has her own habits, such as meowing when I'm on the phone, she wants to be part of the conversation.

I think humans should always be prepared to feed us QUICKLY in the morning!

I always think they're saying: Me-Now, Me-Now!

Morgan also has a tiny voice and talks in little meeps and mews. It's really funny.

Ours congregate at the door from the garage to the house... but then only one or two come in... the others simply want to act as ...stumbling blocks... Mr. Rhett is different from all... he thinks he is a dog... actually, he fetches and plays with his toy balls more often than Daisy, my cocker.

Exactly! Who rules the kitchen? Yes, I would say that it would be the cats! LOL!

Hi dizzy! Target is closer to the camera so he looks bigger. He is now almost as tall as Au, but only one third his width and weight!

Ariel meows me crazy in the morning and if I don't move fast enough she bites my ankles.

Tom has no chances. He has lost.
The cats allways wins.

Great story and so typical behaviour from our fury friends

Oh, my cat babies make the tiny meew-meew-meep sounds too! They implore me with sad faces and mew piteously as if to say, "Hurry up Mummy, can't you see we're starving?"

My dog babies are better disciplined. When I take their dishes away for washing and they know dinner is coming, they both sit at their appointed places with their dinner placemats in front of them and do not budge until the food arrives and we tell them they may eat!

Much love to your fuzzies,
