Cash is top dog

Dog Talk in the print version of The Star Weekender tomorrow stars Cash, a little fuzzy Shih-Tzu from the Klang Valley. She's the one with the green ribbons on the left, her friend Baby is the pretty one on the right, and the lap space is provided by Melissa.

Cash isn't just cute, she was also the K9 Olympics Musical Chair Champion in 2007 and a Runner Up in 2008. Now Cash is thinking of becoming a canine beauty queen. Read all about her tomorrow.

If you and your dog love to get out and compete, check out the Malaysian Dogathon held by The Students’ Society of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at UPM that takes place tomorrow.

Also, if you are thinking of getting a dog companion, please consider adopting Jingle. This pretty girl walked into Friends Furry Farm one dark and stormy night looking for shelter. She's 3 years old and is now looking for a forever home. She has a medium length silky coat and enjoys being with people. However, she is choosy about her dog companions. Jingle is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm prevented. If you want to adopt her, please email sabrinayeap AT gmail.com or sms to 016-6319018.

since i have never been near a small dog i wonder whether dogs like the ones in the first pictures bark and has the same demeanour as big dogs such as the ones i usually see on tv, labrador, german shepards and alsations.

Cash is certainly cute enough to be a canine beauty queen! Jingle is pretty too and we hope she finds her forever home soon!

Pretty woofies! We're not real fond of them normally, since we're not used to being around woofies, but those are cute.

Hey, thanks so much for stopping by our bloggie and sharing your purrs and good thoughts for our Bugsy on his surgery today, as you know all went well and he'll be home tomorrow. We appreciate your thoughtfulness very much!

Big purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew and The Mommy

Cash and Jingle are both beautiful dogs. I hope Jingle finds a forever home soon - she looks like such a nice dog!

P.S. We need to clip our cats' nails because they don't go outside. We have a scratching post, and it helps them shed their nails, but doesn't shorten them. Dobby's toenails actually click on the floor while he walks if they are not trimmed - he seems to feel much better if they are cut a little.

Cash and Baby are adorable, but it is Jingle who stole my heart. She reminds me very much of a dog I once knew and loved, a free-roamer in my neighbourhood who would stop by our gate to say hello. I won't be able to agree to keeping just one dog and accommodate Jingle if she doesn't like my other canine and feline babies, though, so I can't take her. I hope she finds a kind family who will give her a loving home soon.

these two are super cuties! the pic reminded me of my old neighbour's two shih-tzus, kwai-kwai and gwailo. i wonder how they're now :)

regarding the contest on my blog,
of course you can join in, feel free to submit an entry in english! i slipped in the BM rule so that friends won't try to be funny and come up with weird, merepek ways of doing it, like sending an entry in spanish.

(a friend did that once, she used an online translator just to make my life 'more adventurous')

thanks for dropping by :)
