I have been wanting to inoculate all the strays in my area for some years but with 6 permanent strays at the front, several street strays that come and go, and a 13 cat strong colony at the back (and half of them feral) and no place in my house to keep recovering kitties, I just haven't been able to do it.Another big drawback was vet charges. My old vet charged an arm and a leg for shots. Now things are looking up. I have a cat pal who can house recovering kitties in her back room, and I have found a vet who is MUCH cheaper. With his prices I can inoculate two cats for the price of one.
We've started with Tam (pictured left) the kitty who lives across the road from us in our neighbour's garden. And I have also inoculated two kittens from the feral colony at the back of my house.
I am hoping to earn some extra cash soon to fund the rest of them. So cross your fingers for me - and if you know of a literary agent or publisher interested in romance novels, send me a contact! If I can sell one book to Harlequin or similar group, I can do the whole feral colony at the back in one go.

Good luck with getting that done! What a noble idea!
This is a wonderful idea. BTW, I really enjoy romance novels! : )
Hi Katz. I didn't post on Cats on Tuesday this week. It slipped by without me noticing!
What a wonderful idea of inoculating all the cats...although I bet the cats aren't too enthusiastic about it. I've got to take my two to the vet for the same reason shortly...lucky things.
Good luck with the programme and I hope you find a publisher...try Mills & Boon. They pay well, I hear.
good luck to u, unfortunately i don't know any publisher. if i do i would tell you then. good luck again.
You are so kind and big hearted to help those kitties! We hope you have luck finding a publisher! We don't know any.
you really do a lot for them...
i'll try to get your books when they're in store...

It's very nice of you to help the kitties, they may not appreciate it but they should! :)
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Wow, this is great news. You're already going on this... yay!
This is so heroic for you to go an extra mile to help the strays! I hope you can market your future Cat Tales. Good luck.
P.S. Been so busy, pardon for the late reply!
You're a hero. Good work!
I will buy a book direct from you as my way of support for a good cause.
How's that sounds?
Ik ben te vroeg
ik kom morgen terug
Nog geen nieuwe post hihihi...
groetjes :)
I'd like to help out! We can call it: "Project Katztales"! I can pledge a fixed sum every month. Not as much as I had hoped, cos freelance work is well shitter and not coming in any more :o(
Hello! Thanks for visiting me and checking out my silly rabbit ears! and yes, I have been overwhelmed with invites from Toms to go out on a date. I am just being choosy :)
I love your blog. How kind of you to help the stray kitties. Our human used to run her own little cat rescue, mostly working with ferals- that's how she got me, although I wasn't feral. She used to fund everything herself, so it can be quite expensive. She talked to her vet and he gave her a discount for the rescue kitties, but it still added up to lots and lots. But it was very worth it to help those that had no help from anywhere else. Bless you for all you do!
Where? Where?
