This was going to be all about our book Katz Tales but we've had a disaster.
Target was out all day on Sunday. I called for him at lunch, at teatime and then, really worried, went out at night and walked the streets, looking for him. Tam, Snow and the other cats came with me, also worried that I was worried.
Target heard me and came home limping. When Tom picked him up in his arms, Target heaved a sigh of relief. His front paw was horribly twisted. We feared a break but it wasn't swollen. Also, he didn't mind us touching it.
There are now 24 vets anywhere near us. But thanks to Cathy, we got a phone call through to a vet. He thinks Target fell and hurt his shoulder, damaging his nerves. A visit to the clinic this morning showed he has a dislocated paw that needs surgery. Vet who can do the job lives 280km away so planning trip in the morning.
Target is asleep under the bed now. He is not in pain thank goodness but we're all nervous wrecks.
Purr for us?
PS I don't want to bother him with the flashy thing so this pic was taken Friday, before the accident.

Poor Target, get well soon. Purrrrrrs!
This is the reason why all my 8 cats are not allowed to leave home.
Safe journey to the vet and back! Target will be fine.
Get well soon, Target! Meow.
Oh no! Poor Target! Our purrs.
Drive safe, and keep us informed of Target's progress. It helps that Target doesn't seem to be in pain....*hugs*
Oh NO!!! Poor, poor Target! I am crying big splooshy tears for him, but yes, also purring hard. Can I come visit him or would that stress him out more? Sending him all my love.

Arme Target
oh dear. hope Target will recover asap.
Oh No!! Poor Target!! Sending him healing purrs from PJ...
Oh No! I haven't been online much--just letting some preposted stuff be published. I'm sorry to hear about Target. How did the surgery go?
Hope he's feeling better. Purrs to him and you!
Get well soon Target. We're all purring.
Poor thing! I'm glad to know that he isn't in pain. I keep all 7 of our babies indoors. I am an extremely paranoid person, and I don't think that I could handle them being out.
I will keep him in my prayers. Poor little thing.
OMG, poor Target, and you must be so worried ! Fortunately it doesn't hurt, that's the most important. The vet will certainly fix it very well !
When Arthur had his broken tail and we feared that he would loose it, the vet could fix it too. I cross the fingers with you !
Oh my goodness. I just saw all the posts about Target and his injury! I am so glad you found him!
Mom just came home from her trip away and saw your comment that Target was hurt. We are so sorry to hear this! Going to read the next posts right now, to see how he's doing.
Many purrs for a quick recovery!
