Looking down on us below from his lofty perch, our baby cat clearly feels himself to be superior to all of us.
To encourage this feeling of supremacy, we tickle the toe that hangs down, and pretend we want to t reach up to tug his whiskers but caaaaaan't reach!.
This makes Target purr like mad.
I wonder who's sillier? Target for loving this silly game, or us for loving it just as much?

I love Target's grin! My kitties love silly games too. When they were kittens, they would come sleep in my bed with me and I would wiggle my fingers and toes under the blanket for them to catch. They always look so proud when they've finally caught me. The trouble starts when trying to make them release their catch.
It's a lot of fun playing such games.
I never fail to be amused by how cats can look so dignified one minute and so ridiculously silly the next....all because of a "silly" game. :)

We enjoy playing with our mum - and she enjoys the exercise!!
