| Au eating breakfast today |
Like we're in the kitchen and he asks for ham. I give him some, and he runs off. Then I pick him up, sit him on the sofa with me, and he eats his ham all in one go.
Or he asks for chicken, then refuses it. But 5 mins later he's eating cat food. Which he refuses next time round, although he then decides he wants some KFC - Original thigh, and only the white meat on the top, not the dark stuff underneath.
I think it's the heat. It's boiling hot in Malaysia at the moment, and we haven't had rain in days. Also, Au has 100% ok teeth, and no hot spots, cuts etc.
Strictly speaking I have no reason to worry. Still, you know how paranoid I am about my Au-Meow; I'm worried about him.
Purr for us, would you?

Oh I would worry too, but it probably is the heat, it makes one pretty uncomfortable. Purrs to you sweet Au.
That is very curious, but he is eating and seems happy, so I say just go with it and hope for cooler weather.

We'd be worry about Au being "off" too! We're sending purrs that he's more like himself soon!
We know just how you feel, we have the same issues with Phantom. Hopefully it is the heat and Au will be feeling better soon. Paws crossed here.

I think worry is natural, given Au's disease. However, my crew goes off their feed when it gets so dang hot here, hopefully it's just that. Or maybe he's just enjoying pulling your chain. Purrs!
the weather is horrible... if it can affect humans, it sure can affect the cats...

The Woman would be all worried too. She hates it when we change our habits. We are purring hard that it is just the weather.

I know exatcly how you feel --- I'm like that, too, if my kitties ever had any slight change in their behavior or routine.
I think it's the weather, too. Nevertheless, we'll still purr for Au.

I totally get how you could feel this way. I do the same thing as Au and it concerns my human. Only thing, I have been doing this for several years!
I would be worried too, especially with Au's history. At least he's still eating, so we should be thankful for that.
The heat and humidity here has been awful the last couple of weeks. It threatens to rain and then nothing.

Purrrlease don't make your mom worry so much. I know how miserable our hoomans can be with our misbehaviour, misdemeanour, missing sleep etc etc etc. purrr....meow!

Ah, Au sounds like some humans I know. It's over 100 here, too--as in up to 110.
Purring for Au, and hoping it's just the weather or something similarly temporary. Poor Au Boy has been through so much in recent months :(

the heat has been unbearable over here in Penang too. hope Au will feel better soon.
Au will probably eat more when it cools down a few degrees. We are sending a trillion purrs to keep him fit and well.

I think he's fine. Humans can get picky with their food when the weather gets hot. I can see where heat might affect animals as well. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary

I would still worry. you are the Meow-mom, it's your job! maybe the heat is messing with his appetite? we had some heat & humidity the other day & I don't like it, so I am sure the kitties are not happy either. (huggies)

Here in Sweden it should be summer now , but if you look out you can believe is autumn. It´s just raining and raining and raining and it´s just about + 15 celsius :(
Feel better soon! Probably the heat. But with all that salty food be sure he's has lots of fresh cool water. One of my cats is crazy for ham but you know that's no no for cats(hard to digest) It's the reason your never see pork in any cat food.
