We have a bowl like that with the ears! My kittens are so particular, they won't eat unless it's in the proper bowls - so naturally, we accommodate them.
Don't tell them these two get TWO breakfasts, though!

Two breakfasts??? Lucky!
We get only one...but it lasts a couple of hours. (i.e. our tiny bit of kibble, then canned, which takes us longer to eat.)
