Guido has been with us for a few months now and he's settling in nicely. We're getting to know him, and he's getting to know us.Guido is an incredibly sweet little cat. He loves to purr, loves to have his chin squizzled, and is very fond of playing with string.
He also has wild moments every morning where he runs around the walls, trashing everything in his path. Every evening, Guido marches up to Target, smiles sweetly, and then bites him firmly in the neck. They wrestle for a few minutes, and then Target huffs off.
They've started wrestling in the morning too, which is fun except for when they decide I am the purrfect battlefield divider.
This morning each chose a side and ducked down. Then they popped up and down, pawing at each other.
It's fun to watch but whenever a paw slips, I'm the one that gets a claw.
That's my role: collateral damage.

Hehehe, sounds so familiar to me ! Pookie is crazy in the mornings and Arthur and Rosie have friendly fights which sometimes turn into real but then they both run away !

that is soo cool that they uses yous as the great fighting wall! Too bad they forgets to retract the claws though!

I am SO glad Target has Guido to play with. And that he's willing to play. I wish I could have the opportunity to be in a home with more than one kitty sometimes. My girl is too old to tolerate anyone else now but down the road, I will have two.

Sometimes in the late evening we have a five minute war with lots of whapping, chasing and smacky paws.
Five minutes later we're curled up asleep and mum's wide awake!!

Collateral damage - too funny:) You made us laugh. Mom says she usually gets her feet trapped between a good game of bitey face, and she seems to think she needs to keep all of her toes:)

Guido is so handsome! I had to break up a fight last night between Buster and Sammy! Buster had poor Sam backed in a corner...not a good thing to do to a cat! lol

Guido is pretty much the same color .. is why in the fight every day or be jealous??
