Now that he is a Senior Cat and coming up for his 14th birthday, Au has become a gourmet cat. Each day is a new adventure in tastes and textures.
Yesterday Au ate:
Chicken and Sardine Cat food
Cat biscuits
Red Snapper Cat Food (twice)
Roast chicken (twice)
Half a slice of chicken roll
Steak - raw, cadged while I was preparing lunch.
Steak - cooked, cadged off our plates
One slice of bratwurst
A smidgeon of Gouda cheese
Several BBQ crisps
Dental treats
After he was so sick last year, we're so happy to see him interested in food, we give him what he wants!

Mum says she had a cat like that. Always pretty basic tastes and then when she reached her teens developed a liking for broccoli and vegetable samosas! Deccy x

My cats quickly sneak a taste of almost everything that I prepare. I obviously pick my battles. And let them briefly lick the dirty spoons and bowls. The kitchen crazies.
Cripes! Au ate more than ME! Although I substituted chocolate for a couple of his items.
Emma is picky too and only eats when she's hungry. Buster grazes all day long, we're worried he's going to be sick from eating too much.
You Au has a good appetite for a senior cat. Way to go.

Luna is quite a picky eater. I sometimes offer her human treats as well as cat treats, but for the most part she likes simple routine of her basics, and a little piece of cheese now and then.
I could write the same post about Arthur ! He also became a "gourmet" and a thief too when it comes to food in the kitchen ! and we are also happy that he eats again !!
