Target thinks he doesn't need his medicine but I'm continuing it just in case there is a tiny spot of infection left inside that handsome furry face.
If all is well Friday, we'll quit then.

Rosie had an infection at her leg she had a fight with Pookie ! I had to give her the antibiotics and anti-inflamation medicine with a syringe ! She won't take any pill !

Yup, sorry Target, antibiotics are very important when you had an abscess, no matter how small. If you don't kill it all, it will come back. Many an eon ago I had a kitty who felt the need to defend his territory (he has a long story, and I totally understood) and he would come home beat up and all too often they would abscess. I also worked in a vet clinic for a while and saw abscesses that came back because all of the antibiotics weren't given because kitties thought they weren't necessary.
Chalk it up as part of your wearing that cool badge of courage!!
