It's my job to:
1. Hit the F1 button when Mummy Cat is confused because that puts up a Help screen.
2. THE HIT THE CAPS LOCK KEY WHEN MUMMY CAT IS MAKING AN IMPORTANT POINT.
3. Add interesting punctuation @@##$$%% when she's writing boring stuff. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mummy Cat set up a special chair for me right next to hers because she says I need to spread out and relax.
But I know my duty. Mummy Cat needs me. So I stretch out on the desk where I can be on paw for my snoopervising duties all day long.
I am furry dedicated you know!

Humans need to understand that to really get the job done, we kitties MUST be on the desk, where all the action is! Although sometimes I have been known to perch on the back of my human's chair when it is time for her to take a break and feed me.

Some years ago, police in the US arrested a man for downloading several hundred MB of kiddy (not kitty) porn. The man's excuse? THE CAT DID IT. Yes, he actually told a judge that his cat walked on the keyboard when he went to the kitchen for a drink. Luckily for the cat, the judge wasn't having any of it. Be careful, Target -- you may get blamed for some computational malfeasance! :-)

you are furry lucky that yer mummy cat hafs a desk you kin lay on. our mommer only hafs a laptop, so we must fight for lapspace in order to help her. sometimes she even hollers, "STOP HELPING ME!" when we snoopervise too closely;-)

We have a chair next to the computer, but we also much prefer the desktop.
