Flump or Yogi?

This is one of Guido's favourite poses.  We can't figure out if he's a Flump or if this is some kind of kitty yoga. 

If it's yoga then he's a master because he often falls asleep in this position.  Or maybe he's meditating to another plane?

We're FBI Cats!

We are curious man cats who inspect efurrything all the time.

We inspect the car to make sure the mats are claw-able.

We test the perimeter exhaustively.

We make sure that all food is up to standard.

Guido: On Guard

Kitties, I have to talk to you about Duty.

It is furry nice to Snooze on the sofa, and to Command in the kitchen, but a cat also has to Do His Duty.

Basically, it's up to us to make sure that no Intruders get to our Pets.

Intruders may shed furs all over Your Pet, steal your food, or even sleep in your cardboard box (Seriously! This happened to a friend of our friend!).

In order to make sure my Pets are not Bothered By Intruders, I make sure I do a Total Security Sweep of the street efurry morning and evening.

If an Intruder comes, I will run into the house shouting MEOW! and my Pets will follow me safely indoors, saying, "Oh Guido, is it scary? Are you OK?"

Of course I'm ok. I am simply Doing My Duty.

Tabby Cat's Second Trip To The Vet

Tabby cat at the vet.

It took Tabby three days to forgive me for taking her to the vet and the day after she did, I betrayed her trust again and took her back to the vet.

She had he stitches out and her second injection against mites.


Tabby is a nice girl though; she headbutted me at breakfast this morning and purred.  I think she's feeling good.

Next time she has to have her vaccinations.  I'll leave it a week or two because she's had quite a hit on her with the op and the jabs.  Luckily there is no illness in our community at present so fingers crossed she'll be ok.

Thanks! First Cat Spayed Thanks To Katz Tales eBook

When my first book came out, Katz Tales, Living Under The Velvet Paw, I gave 10% of my take to Friends Furry Farm. It wasn't much, as I only got 10% myself.

When I decided to try out e-books, I decided to spend all of it on spaying and vaccinating strays.

As I've said before, I'm not a rescuer but I do feed the 6 or so poor souls dumped on our back doorstep twice a day. So far it's been out of my budget to do much more for them.

The 3 Katz Tales e-books have so far netted US$38.72 of which I get to keep about 70%.  I'm getting my first cheque at the end of this month, and although it covers about 50% of what I need for a spay and vaccination deal, I thought I'd go for it.

Yesterday this stray girl (I call her Tabby. Inspired, huh?) was spayed and given an anti-mite injection - the mite treatment was free.  Next week she gets her second dose of mite stuff and her first vaccination.  We spayed first as pregnancy is our top concern and there is currently no rampant disease in our area.  Crossed fingers.
