Guido: We've Got Bees!

We've had a furry exciting morning because we had BEES!

On Caturday, the Pet saw some bees on the small roof. She poked about inside (she's curious like a cat) and she found a bee nest!

Today the Bomba came to take them away! And we didn't get to see it because the Pet locked us inside! And she took CJ to his house, so he didn't get to see it either! And neither did Bobby or Jigsaw or any of the other cats!

Luckily the Pet took some photos.

The bomba set fire to the nest - it's okay because they have a water hose!

The bee nest

Me, looking for bees
The Pet said she felt Furry Guilty about taking away the nest but these bees Swarm and we might get Hurt. That's what she said but I like bees because they Buzz and you can Whap them with your Paw. I want a bee as a Pet!

Funnily enough when the Pet went outside to clean things up, one bee came and stung her in the toe.  She had to take her toe next door to Aunty Lillian to make sure there wasn't a Sting Left Inside.  There wasn't.

The Pet says that it's Only Proper for the bees to Take Revenge and she doesn't mind having a sore toe.

I've been thinking about this and I think it means that she wants me to bite her in the toes when she's being difficult - like not letting me out at 3AM and refusing to play Kitty In The Bocks, a game Au made up, at 5AM.

Sounds good, right?

I am sorry for the bees too, but they had to go, because otherwise someone might get badly hurt. At least the Bomba uses smoke and fire and not poison, which could harm birds and other harmless insects. I am sorry the Pet got stung, and no, she doesn't deserve it but it was the bee's instinct to sting. My Pet got stung by a bee on the tongue when he was at a party with your Pet, I don't think it was a very nice experience at all. The doctor had to take the stinger out of his tongue.

Mommy feels very bad for the bees...but it's true, a swarm could kill a kitty...'specially a SWATTY kitty. We like the Bomba's uniforms!

I don't think bees want to be kept as pets. They have pretty bad tempers.

What an adventure ! Fortunately none of you put it's nose in the nest ! Rosie loves to play with wasps and bees and I don't like that at all !

WE are sorry about the bees, too. But we understand ... they can be quite dangerous for kitties and humans (especially if you whap them)!

It's best that the bees got taken away. I once got stung by a bee and it hurt. My paw swelled up a little bit. It wasn't fun.

The Bomba look very snazzy in their uniforms! I am glad the bees are gone because they are very dangerous when they are disturbed.

Whoa! Those guys must be triplets cos they’re all dressed alike. Very funny that she got stung but the only bee left. One of TW’s cats many many many years ago was stung by a bee and TW had to lance and clean the sting.

Our mom doesn't want us around bees either, even though we think they look like lots of fun!

The mom had a dog who loved to eat bees. She'd go bee hunting in the garden and when she caught one, she'd eat it. They usually stung her in the mouth first and the mom would see her shaking her head so she knew she had been stung again. But she loved eating bees and the mom could never break that habit.

Guido, the toe bitey might be a plan for you...I engage in the nose bitey. Like the outfits of the Bombas!

We wish the bees had made their nest in another place so they would not be a danger to you kitties. Sweet Guido we are not to sure it would work for your good if you bite your pets toe, what do you think? Hugs and nose kisses

Guido...I hope they weren't honey bees. But even so, I cannot blame your Pet. NO one wants to be stung and swarmed upon. xxoo
